Andy Warhol was an American Pop Artist and cultural icon, well known for his controversial pieces that still inspired creative thinkers across the world. The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is still the largest museum in America dedicated to a single artist.
Andy Warhol is clearly a legend to many people, and his legacy still stands and his famous quote“In the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes.” You can’t choose the 15 minutes but why would you be world famous?
Whether there is truth to this or not? It's each to their own. I don't believe that it's possible for everybody to be world famous for fifteen minutes. It's impossible. There are 7 billion people on earth, and there is not nearly enough time or space to add them all to a program on TV for fifteen minutes each. For example, if 7 people had 15min of fame each on TV, it would take 2hrs and 15min for each of them to have 15min. Multiply that by 1 billion... That is 17 500 000 minutes on TV or on any platform where people could become famous. Where would each of the 6 999 999 people get a chance in their lifetime to give each person 15min of fame? It would take a lifetime..
