Femto-photography - Trillion frames per second!

Imagine... a camera that can take one trillion frames per second..... Equal to the speed of light... It's called FEMTO-PHOTOGRAPHY

I originally heard about this idea from a friend who saw it on TEDTalks - Do yourself a favour and look at their website. Dr's, engineers and other people are coming up with the most incredible concepts! This is one of them!

Dr Harold Edgerton inspired us with awe and curiosity a photo of a bullet piercing through an apple a millionth of a second. 50 years later we can go a million times faster, not at a million, but a trillion frames per second.

New type of technology can now create slow motion video that can capture light in motion, see inside our bodies without x-rays and cameras can look around corner... How awesome is that!! 

If this becomes a reality, it means we can do the following:

1. See around corners - spot criminals for example
2. Avoid collisions around the corner
3. We can create endoscopes that can look inside the body
4. Locate survivors in hazardous conditions by looking at light reflected in open windows
