This morning the bf and I decided to have a quick coffee before work. We popped into the Cape Town Tourism offices in Burg street in Cape Town CBD at about 7.30am, which by the way only opens at 8am. The security guard happily let us in and the waiter behind the counter at Cafe del Cabo welcomed us with a bright smile and proceeded to tell us about the special for the day ~ instead of just having a coffee, why not rather order a bacon and egg sandwich for R20 and get the coffee for R10? We were sold and bought it. While waiting he told us we could use the free internet service, we took a photo at the Beenthere.tv photo booth for free and browsed amongst the hundreds of brochures of things to do around Cape Town. I think the building and decor is absolutely beautiful! Less than 10min later the food was served. The manager made sure we had all the condiments we needed and the breakfast was amazing! This is an example of great service in a comfortable environment. 10 out of 10 and highly recommended! He got a R10 tip from us!
